Jerad Michael Carson is a graduate student at California State University, Fullerton, and he is the Assistant Director of the CSUF Writing Center. As a black queer writer, he is particularly interested in issues of identity, sexuality, and loss. His work with the Language Policy Ally program encourages linguistic diversity in writing-intensive courses and advocates for students from underrepresented backgrounds, especially Black and Latinx students.
