Project:
Co-PI: Dr. Mugdha Yeolekar
This project aims to bring together a group of ten female participants from CSUF who will gather ten times in their home kitchens to co-create food. Participants will draw on their diverse ethnic backgrounds to explore the meaning of food and sorority in a diasporic context. Using a digital humanities approach, the participants will document the experience via photos, videos, and oral histories. These multi-media stories transcend the conventional boundaries of written recipes, inviting audiences into a multisensory journey through a fusion of visuals, sounds, and narratives.
