Yesenia Rivera Rayo, born on January 2, 2002, to Pablo Rivera Peñalosa and Maria Rayo Sanchez in Santa Ana, California. She is a first-generation student at California State University of Fullerton. She is pursuing a major in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and Information Systems and a minor in Chicana/o Studies. While her passion lies in numbers and data, through her undergraduate journey, she discovered the significance of preserving Mexican-American narratives through the art of storytelling. She aims to embark on a creative writing journey, combining digital humanity and storytelling to share her family’s history and celebrate her Mexican heritage.
