I am a cultural anthropology graduate student with previous experience in history, archaeology, and creative writing. My study interests revolve around food, immigrant communities, and globalization. I particularly enjoy drawing connections between everyday activities in a household, such as cooking and grocery shopping, and the larger influences of a globalized and connected world. I enjoy working with a variety of expressive mediums, such as fine art, music, and film, and have been involved in past projects that encouraged the merging of academic research and creative presentation. I look forward to contributing to the digital humanities space.
