In 2019, after kids and careers, I returned to school to become a secondary English teacher....to only practice pedagogies rooted in diversity, equity and inclusion.
I grew up in Irvine, CA, and am a senior at CSUF pursuing a B.A. in Political Science with an interest in diplomacy, international development, and humanitarian intervention and response.
I am a recent graduate from CSUF master’s program in history. As a budding public and digital historian, I look forward to working on public-facing projects, learning more about underrepresented histories, and learning from others.
I am a fourth-year undergraduate majoring in Psychology and minoring in Queer Studies. I am very passionate about community involvement and volunteering, especially with young people in the LGBTQ+ community.

My master’s thesis focuses on the Chicana Health Movement and how Chicanas protected their community and fought for their health rights [...]
I am currently on my last semester of obtaining my undergraduate degree in History at CSUF. After graduation, I plan on attending CSUF’s single subject credential program for Social Science.
